Ingredients

- 3 ripe avocados
- 1/3 cup finely diced red onion
- 2 Roma tomatoes diced
- 1 jalapeño minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Cut avocados in half remove pits and scoop flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocado to your desired texture using a fork or masher.
- Stir in diced red onion tomatoes jalapeño and chopped cilantro.
- Add lime juice and salt then mix gently to combine.
- Spoon the guacamole into 4-ounce mason jars filling each about three-quarters full.
- Cover with plastic wrap touching the surface if making ahead and chill.
- Right before serving arrange jars on a tray and add tortilla chips around or into the jars.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor and color preservation.
- Customize by adding diced mango or a dollop of Greek yogurt.
- Press plastic wrap directly on the guacamole surface to prevent browning.
