- 4 tilapia fillets
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- Chopped parsley or green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat tilapia dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear tilapia 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add lemon juice and stir, letting it simmer for 1–2 minutes to thicken.
- Return tilapia to skillet and spoon sauce over top.
- Garnish with lemon slices and herbs. Serve hot.
